Like the Red Sky at Morning: Coming Soon

I’ve got good news and I’ve got bad news. Which do you want to hear first?

I always prefer bad first, so here it is: Solitude of a Birdcage‘s sequel, Like the Red Sky at Morning‘s release is being pushed back until October (only a month! Don’t freak out!). RedSkytempCoverSo for those of you who have been asking, as well as those of you who were expecting the September release day, Red Sky will officially be available October 27, 2015.

Now for the good news! We have a cover! I’m SO excited to not only show you guys the Red Sky cover, but to reveal the updated Solitude cover as well. Don’t worry, it doesn’t deviate very far from the design we all know and love, it’s just undergone some small changes that, I think, make a big difference.

A small cover reveal blog tour is in the works, so if you have a blog and you’re interested in joining to be one of the first to reveal the Red Sky cover, get in touch with me (subject: Cover Reveal)!

For everyone who read Solitude and can’t wait to dive into Red Sky, I’ve got the opportunity for you: If you leave an honest review of Solitude of a Birdcage on Amazon, you’ll get an exclusive look at the first TEN CHAPTERS of Like the Red Sky at Morning (that’s half of the book, y’all!).

3. Once your review is posted, submit the link to the review to me (subject: Amazon Review).

4. I’ll confirm that your review was accepted by Amazon (sometimes Amazon rejects reviews), and then I’ll send you chapters 1 through 10 of Red Sky in full**.

The story of Maxie and Isaac continues in the sequel to SOLITUDE OF A BIRDCAGE as the two lovers learn that some memories can’t be erased, and the past is never far behind.

She had a choice, and she chose him, only to be left guilt-ridden and heartbroken. Now Maxie Shannen is determined to move on from the past she shared with Isaac Cole—especially since he still doesn’t remember it.

Seeking comfort in a new job, dreams of becoming a chef, and a scheme that may be the very escape she needs, Maxie counts down the days until she’s out of the apartment she shares with Van and Isaac for good. But as she draws closer to her goals, she finds herself facing a new temptation as intoxicating—and as forbidden—as the last.

Torn between the past and the future, truth and pretense, a new love and the old, Maxie will once again be forced to make a decision that will leave her with everything she’s ever wanted, or nothing at all.
